Google has provided an easier password recovery options, it been there for quite a sometime, am writing here for people who still don’t know about it.

It’s very common that you had changed your password recently and might forgot it or if you have not used your account for quite a long time and when you are back you might be thinking “Oh was that an “a” or “A” in my password, damn!” and you want to access your account very urgently. So forgot about all these hassles and leave that to Google who can advise you and only you about resetting your password. All you need is your mobile phone, where Google will SMS your password recovery code.

First you need to setup your password recovery options, If you have not done till now for all the means do it now! It will help you in crisis :). Login to Google Account with your credentials and go to your “My Account” page, you would see something like below on top right side

Now click on Change password recovery options that will take you to next page where you would see something like “Add a mobile phone number”

Now its obvious to click on the above link and update your Country and Mobile phone number which Google will use to send your password recovery code with which you will be able to take back your account, Voila!
